Introduction
This is the supplementary website for the following article:

Visual analytics toolbox
Visualize singular fingerprints
For visualizing individual fingerprints for a specific country and year. Use the two dropdown menus to select a country and a year. When a fingerprint is visualized, functionality for downloading a figure in SVG format and to download the up- and downstream sectorial prominence of the currently selected fingerprint is available. Additional URL:s for the API call and the URL to this specific visualization.
Compare two fingerprints
For comparing two national fingerprints for different countries and/or years. Use the four dropdown menus to select country and year for the two fingerprints. Note that countries or years may be the same for both. The first fingerprint will be shown using green dots and the second fingerprint will be shown with red dots. Having selected two fingerprints, the difference between the two fingerprints, for each sector and 'direction', will be indicated with a vertical bar, where the colors reflect which fingerprint that has a higher prominence for that particular value. Has functionality for downloading the current visualization in SVG format. Additional URL:s for the API call and the URL to this specific visualization.
Explore subsets
For exploring the average fingerprints of the different subsets referred to in the article. Also includes subsets based on the alternative coefficient-based fingerprints. Select subset using the dropdown menu. Mean prominence values are given by the blue dot. Variance (in terms of plus/minus one standard deviation) is given by the light blue bars. Cluster membership shown below visualization. Functionality for downloading the visualized fingerprint in SVG format. To download sectorial statistics for an average fingerprint, use the Data table link. Note that this data also contains sectorial minimum and maximum values. To download the list of cluster members and their years, use the Country-years table. Additional URL:s for the API call and the URL to this specific visualization.
Longitudinal transformations
For exploring longitudinal change of individual countries. Select country using the dropdown menu. The green bars show the annual transformation (dissimilarity with previous year). The blue line shows the dissimilarity between a year and year 1995. Functionality for downloading the visualized fingerprint in SVG format. To download the data for the specific visualization, use Download data table: note that this also contains cumulative annual change.
